UTAC Automotive Testing Finland Oy, part of the UTAC Group, is an impartial growth company specializing in testing vehicles, tires and components, offering its international customers year-round winter conditions both on outdoor test tracks and in indoor testing halls in two test centres located in Ivalo.
Job Title: Finance Coordinator
Job Summary: The Finance Coordinator will manage and coordinate various financial activities within the organization, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with relevant laws and standards. This role involves budgeting, financial reporting, auditing, financial analysis, taxation and monitoring of investments and procurements. In this position you will work in close cooperation with the Finance team in Ivalo as well as with the Group's financial administration.
Key Responsibilities:
-Assist with the financial budgeting and forecasting process.
-Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
-Ensure financial transactions are accurately recorded and entered into the accounting systems.
-Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
-Coordinate with other departments to compile and interpret financial data.
-Manage vendor relationships and handle accounts payable and receivable.
-Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
-Provide guidance on financial management matters to senior management.
-Maintain up-to-date knowledge of organizational procedures, statutory regulations affecting financial records, and tax laws.
-Assist in the preparation of monthly closings and yearly audits and provide necessary financial data.
-Provide support for ad-hoc financial projects and analysis.
-Participate in internal audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
-2+ years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
-Good understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software (e.g. Maestro).
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
-Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Fluency in Finnish and English.
