Our Information Management team develops shipbuilding-centric solutions to manage the lifecycle of ships from design to operation. Now we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who can contribute to our development in this area. This role presents a unique opportunity to influence the look and feel of our latest product - CADMATIC Wave, a game-changing integrated CAD-PLM system that's set to revolutionize shipbuilding processes. As part of the team, you create new and maintain existing features. You find ways to fulfill user needs, and you strive for efficient technical solutions and good usability. You participate in planning, implementation, and review both independently and as part of the Scrum team. You feel comfortable with collaborating with other developers inside and outside of the team to identify and find solutions.

What we expect from you

To thrive in this role, you should hold a degree in Computer Science or a related field, with at least a couple of years of experience as a Software Engineer. We are looking for a person who is eager to learn. We expect from you:

- You are proficient in Python.
- You are experienced in web application development (client-server architecture, JavaScript, React).
- You are comfortable working with Git, VS Code and Jira.
- You are eager to contribute to all phases from conception and implementation to testing, documentation, maintenance, shaping our solution architecture and continuously improving.
- You can communicate effectively in English.

Ability to communicate in Finnish or German is a plus. Any experience in shipbuilding, CAD applications, Document Management Systems, or PLMs is considered as benefit. Experience with other development technologies like C++ is appreciated. Knowledge of Agile development and Azure is a nice-to-have.
