THE TRAINEE WILL BECOME A DURST SERVICE ENGINEER AFTER THE TRAINEE PERIOD

We have great success with our industrial inkjet-based large format and label printers from Durst. Today we have approx. 60 installations in our Nordic region. We are searching for a service technician preferably with knowledge and experience mechanics and electronics. Our company Molanders Sign & Display (MSD), a subsidiary of the international Durst AG, is one of the Nordic market's leading companies in large inkjet printers built for continuous "24/7 production" large prints primarily for advertising and marketing in chain stores, fairs and general trade.

Our Nordic printing customers are increasing their production and thus also their demands on our Durst systems, not least operational reliability, and minimal downtime. For MSD to be able to meet the increased demands of the market, specialist knowledge is required regarding the types of systems we maintain and troubleshoot.
In this position after trainee period, your task will be to install our high-quality Durst inkjet printers as well as to work with maintenance service and not least emergency troubleshooting, training, and ongoing system upgrades. The tasks require interest, experience and knowledge in both electronics, mechanics and IT related to inkjet systems.

You will perform your work in a production environment and your working hours are normally 8 am to 5 pm but depending on the nature of the work and our customers' production situation, the work can sometimes also take place after 5pm. Our customers are in Sweden, Norway, Finland & the Baltic countries, which is why the service requires travel, partly in one's own company car, partly via plane and train. The person we are looking for should be based in the Helsinki region (or close) and will primarily perform service in Finland and the Baltic countries. Sometimes there will be necessary to travel also to our other regions, Sweden and Norway.
In Stockholm we are 4 service engineers sometimes also traveling to Finland and Baltics.

We are looking for you who have a basic technical education that you now want to practice and develop. You are customer-oriented and have a great interest in new technology and you also have a positive drive and want to learn more in the field. We continuously conduct training at our factories in Italy and Austria. You will initially alternate training with practical work together with our established Durst service engineers.

You have good communicative and analytical skills and have understanding and knowledge in electronics, mechanics, mechanical engineering, and IT.
As a person, you are positive, proactive and enjoy taking responsibility and making decisions yourself. You have a solution-focused way of working and have a good sense of service and cooperation with both colleagues and customers. The position also requires a B driver's license and good ability in English as well as written, reading and speaking skills.
