Key Responsibilities:

Develop detailed structural and pipework designs using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD in a 3D environment.
Work with point cloud data to create accurate models and technical drawings.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet project specifications and industry standards.
Conduct feasibility studies and provide innovative solutions for design challenges in marine applications.
Prepare technical documentation, including design reports and presentations.
Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulations to improve design processes.
Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural and pipework design within the marine industry.
Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD (3D environments), with experience in working with point clouds.
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
Marine technical background or experience in naval architecture is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of engineering principles, structural analysis, material properties, and marine pipework systems.
Proficiency in additional design software such as Navisworks Manage, Autodesk ReCap, or Autodesk Vault is an advantage.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Familiarity with industry regulations and standards related to marine design.
Experience with project management tools and methodologies is a plus.
