Your role and responsibilities
We are now looking for a new Product Manager to join our Global Product Management team in ABB Distribution Solutions in Vaasa or Tampere. As a Procut Manager you will be responsible for the Monitoring and Diagnostics offering in our portfolio. The role will require some travel based on need, approximately 25-40 days annually in different countries.

This position reports to Product Management Manager.

You will be mainly accountable for:
- Leading the Monitoring and Diagnostics offering as a Product Manager
- Collaborating between the different parts of the organization and external stakeholders
- Defining and driving the product development needs of our customers into the portfolio
- Conducting comprehensive market analysis and research to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities to be able to plan the future development steps.

Qualifications for the role:
- A B.Sc. or M.Sc. level degree from Electrical Engineering or similar
- Previous demonstrated work experience as a Product Manager, preferably in a global role
- Strong understanding of monitoring and diagnostic technologies
- Knowledge of Medium Voltage switchgear, protection and control
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in English and Finnish or Swedish, both written and spoken, additional languages seen as an advantage
- Knowledge of arc flash protection is seen as a strong benefit
