As Odevo's Head of Legal & Compliance, Finland, you will assume an overall responsibility for the legal matters regarding Odevo's Finnish business. You will identify legal needs that arise from Odevo's Finnish organization, build necessary legal and compliance processes and implement standards set by your group-level legal team colleagues in Sweden, and provide both strategic and operative legal support to Odevo's Finnish business. If you are interested in and have prior exposure to M&A, you are more than welcome to participate in M&A projects in the Finnish market, as well.

You will work closely with Odevo's growing group-level legal and compliance teams based in Sweden, UK and US as well as the management and employees of Odevo's Finnish businesses, Retta and Kontu. The role may require occasional and pre-planned travel mainly to Sweden.

You could be the one we are looking for, if you tick the following boxes:

- You have a Finnish legal degree and ideally 5-10 years of relevant post-graduate working experience preferably combining both business law firm and inhouse legal roles (but please feel free to reach out if you think this is a spot-on role for you and you only have either!)

- You are a generalist lawyer who can cover a wide array of business legal topics, and ideally have specific experience in AML, privacy and compliance - we are particularly excited to hear from you if you have advised financial sector as a consultant or as an inhouse lawyer.

- You are process-oriented and can come up with pragmatic and effective legal processes.

- You take initiative and appreciate a growth-oriented and innovative environment, where instead of finding a predefined solution from a handbook, it will be you who creates them!

- Your enthusiasm for learning drives you to continuously improve yourself, develop those around you, and enhance business practices with an independent mindset.

- You are fluent in Finnish and English (both written and verbal) - Swedish skills are a plus but not a requirement.

- You have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and motivate your colleagues.
