We are recruiting Tooling Engineer with experience in tool manufacturing and tool design within plastics industry.

Responsibilities

- Demanding injection molding tools and plastic component design and development
- Create product and tool development input for customer's device development projects
- Tool documentation including design verification (e.g. design reviews measurement reports etc.)
- Product CAD-modeling and drawing creation based on product specifications
- Requests for quotations for tool details
- Participate in industrialization and product development work
- Tool spare part handling in SAP. Responsible for the spare part (validation) process, including e.g. change management, SAP activities, test run planning together with stakeholders

Qualifications

- BSc or MSc in engineering (e.g. machine engineering)
- Good understanding of injection molding tool design and manufacturing technologies
- Design skills in Siemens NX environment
- Basic knowledge of plastics materials, injection molding and automation technologies
- Relevant product development and plastics processing knowledge
- IT skills (MS office, Siemens NX)
- Fluent in both English and Finnish
- Initiative and organizing skills
- Good co-operation skills
- Time management skills
