Nordic Unique Travels is one of the main travel companies located in Rovaniemi, Finland. We specialize in tours in Lapland - in Finland, North Norway, and Sweden. At the moment we have more than 100 tours and holiday packages in the Arctic Circle. Lapland is a great winter destination offering unforgettable experiences. Because of its nature, northern lights, winter activities, unique cuisine and accommodation and of course Santa Claus, it is very popular among customers from all around the world.

We are one of the main tourism companies in Lapland, also with many tours around Scandinavia. We are looking for Human Resource Coordinator to join our human resource team in Rovaniemi office.

Duration of the agreement: Start as soon as possible and last for 6 months to 1 year, possible to prolong the contract.
Part-time position / Full time position

Basic Duties and Responsibilities:

- Supporting the administrative part of the new hire process
- Helping out where necessary during the pre-boarding and onboarding of employees, i.e. staying in touch with them, answering their questions, sending them relevant material, and so on
- Apartment/ dormitory administrator related work
- Maintain and manage the equipments
- General administration and coordination
- Answering all internal and external HR-related queries and requests
- Other miscellaneous affairs might be assigned

Requirements:

- Proven experience as or similar executive role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Effective HR administration and people management skills
- Positive attitude in all situations
- Must be organized, detail oriented, and able to prioritize work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English
- Bachelors degree in human resources or related is a plus
- Preferably candidates with working experience related to tourism
