Mölnlycke is now looking for a Buyer to join our Procurement team at the Mikkeli Factory.

About the Job:
As a Buyer, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective supply chain management for the Mikkeli Factory. You will be responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating purchasing activities to secure the supply of goods and services and maintain strategic awareness of global markets.

In this role, you'll collaborate with various stakeholders to identify improvement areas and take part in development projects, lead purchasing activities that drive cost of goods sold (COGS) improvements and provide crucial support to the Procurement Manager and the team. Your responsibilities will also include supplier evaluations, maintaining document compliance and monitoring and reporting supplier performance.

You'll be instrumental in optimizing our purchasing power and ensuring that our factory operations run smoothly. You'll actively participate in global and local procurement development, provide analytical data on pricing and trends, and assist in the creation and follow-up of key performance indicators (KPIs) and sustainability. Your work will directly impact our ability to deliver high-quality products efficiently and cost-effectively.

What You'll Need:

- Purchasing experience in manufacturing industry
- Degree qualified or equivalent experience preferred
- Proven experience in building commercial relationships and negotiating terms
- Strong global strategic awareness of commodity markets
- Experience in sustainability is an advantage
- Excellent negotiation skills and financial acumen
- IT proficiency, including ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
- Experience in the medical device industry is an advantage
- Fluency in English is required

Your Work-Life:

- Office-based at Mikkeli Factory, with a requirement to be onsite at least 3 days a week
- Willingness to travel
