Our team is expanding, and we are now looking for a passionate professional for our QEHSC team (Quality, Environment, Health & Safety, Compliance and Sustainability), where you will play a key role in supporting our fast-growing international business. As a Senior Quality Engineer your tasks will vary, but the most important duty is to contribute to the creation and development of the company's quality standards and implement strategies for quality assurance in e.g. product development. You will also be responsible for document creation for quality issue reporting related to the product creation process with efforts placed to find a solution. You work closely together with different stakeholders through our organization and develop our quality culture and awareness, while supporting the whole organization in any quality related matters.

To succeed in this role, you already have over five years of experience in working with Quality in manufacturing environment and a relevant academic degree. We believe you are a person who has a genuine interest, passion and understanding of proactive quality work and assume that such is built by relationships and trust. You have excellent analytical skills and strong process understanding. A very hands-on attitude, strong communication and collaboration skills, and ability to take initiative will help you to thrive in your daily work. While having the ability to deliver solo projects to the finish-line in allocated time, you have a customer centric approach and the ability to manage various stakeholder expectations.

In this new and permanent position located in Helsinki, you will be reporting to our Quality Director.

Main responsibilities
- Participate in the development of new products and services, sustaining activities and product changes by providing quality expertise
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians and scientists to support product quality improvements
- Support the organization in process development, especially in product creation phase and ensure ISO 9001 compliant documentation
- Responsibility for carrying out quality development projects and continual improvement activities throughout the organization
- Investigate for root cause analysis together with stakeholders, including reporting and follow up agreed actions
- Develop quality culture and awareness, and implement needed programs, policies, and procedures
- Support the organization in any quality related matters, including internal communication

What we expect from you
- An academic degree within a relevant area, preferably technical education
- 5+ years of experience in working with Quality in manufacturing environment
- Passionate, focused and determined about quality
- Excellent critical-thinking skills and knowledge of the ISO 9001 standard
- Customer centric approach
- A collaborative and problem-solving mindset with the ability to develop excellent working relationships with staff at all levels of the organization along with external stakeholders
- Deep knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools, such as DFMEA/PFMEAs and control plans
- The ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritizing accordingly and manage various stakeholder expectations
- Team player who can also deliver solo projects to the finish-line in allocated time
- Possess commitment and enthusiasm to create plans, drive change management and get results
- Good command of written and spoken English, Finnish is beneficial

We also appreciate
- Experience in continuous improvement methodologies and tools (PDCA, Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma, CAR, CAPA, A3/8D, )
- Experience from an international business environment (preferably in a high-tech industry)
- High attention to detail and a proactive mindset in getting results
- Positive, hands-on attitude
