Koivunen Oy is part of the Swedish MEKO Group, a leading automotive parts distribution company in Northern Europe. MEKO Group's annual turnover is approximately 1.3 billion euros. We specialize in importing and wholesaling spare parts, accessories, tires, wheels, tools, machinery, and fastening materials for both passenger and commercial vehicles.

Our heritage dates back to the early days of the automobile industry in the 1920s. Within our industry, we are among the largest and most recognized players in Europe. We have established connections worldwide and represent hundreds of international manufacturers in Finland. Our distribution network covers the entire country, and our products are sold to consumers through reputable local retailers and specialized repair shops. Our workforce in Finland consists of around 500 employees.

Our extensive inventory of nearly 140,000 products encompasses a wide range of vehicle types and ages, serving both domestic and nearby regions. Additionally, we have a comprehensive network of subsidiaries operating in nearby areas.

We are now seeking for an ambitious and tech-savvy IT Manager to play a significant role in developing our IT operations. Strong people skills are essential in this role.

Role overview:
In this crucial role, you will manage the full lifecycle of IT solutions and platforms within your designated area-from the initial definition and supplier selection to the project and operational phases. You will lead a skilled team of IT specialists and play a vital role in the development of our IT infrastructure and selected application domains.

Key responsibilities:
IT Solutions Management: Take ownership of a diverse range of IT solutions, including networking, data centers, server environments, and end-user devices. Oversee the ongoing maintenance and development of our Microsoft infrastructure and internal applications crucial to business operations.

Leadership and Development: Act as a mentor and supervisor for your team, guiding the maintenance, development, and harmonization of IT across the business area. Lead strategic projects that influence Koivunen's long-term trajectory and ensure efficient operations.

Operative Partner and Supplier Management: Manage relationships with partners and suppliers, including the selection and integration of new partners. Directly impact the evolution of our IT infrastructure by playing a key role in these selections.
Support Function and Policy Implementation: Enhance our support function by defining and tracking service levels, planning for business continuity, and implementing IT policies and best practices according to group standards. Further develop and implement the IT security and data protection policies.

Future Planning and Standardization: Lead the roadmapping of future IT infrastructure projects within your area, ensuring that all solutions align with business objectives and set standards for solution documentation.

Qualifications
Experience as an IT specialist or manager in an enterprise environment.
Strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure and cloud technologies.
Know-how of Microsoft technologies.
Solid understanding of cybersecurity and data protection.
Great people skills.
Proven track record in process development and/or improving ways of working.
Process understanding of how to set up a support function (e.g., ITIL framework).
Relevant academic background in IT or related fields (Bachelor's or Master's degree).
Fluent communication skills in both Finnish and English.

What we see as beneficial to succeed in the role
Experience in requirements elicitation and enthusiasm to drive change in ways of working.
Hands on experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft technologies overall.
You have maintained and/or implemented IT infrastructure or cloud environments.
Technical background, for example, in software development or IT infrastructure.
Experience in coordinating software development projects.
You have experience in the supplier selection process (e.g., RFI and RFP).
