Luvata Oy is now looking for a Group Financial Controller.

The appointed person will report to Director, Group Controlling & Reporting of Luvata Group and the position will be based in Luvata headquarters in Pori, Finland (hybrid work).

Luvata's Group Controlling and Reporting team is looking for a person with a special interest in financial accounting and taxation. We offer you a position in an international environment where you will utilize your English skills daily. Your main tasks will include group consolidation and reporting according to IFRS. You will support and guide group companies in their reporting and ensure compliance with regulations. Knowledge of Finnish and international taxation is considered as an advantage, but the most important thing is your genuine interest and willingness to learn more in this area. Our team is also involved in sustainability reporting in line with the new EU reporting requirements. We are constantly developing our people, systems, and processes to drive finance transformation and your passion for growth and development is valued in our team.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

Group consolidation and reporting,
IFRS compliance and taxation matters,
support with analysis related to financial matters or other ad hoc analysis,
support and train colleagues in the finance community,
participate in finance development projects, and
drive efficiency and excellence in controlling processes.

Key qualifications:

3-5 years of experience from financial controlling, business controlling or similar,
Master's degree in finance, accounting, business or equivalent,
accurate and systematic way of working and good analytical skills,
collaborative team player,
proactive and open mindset,
strong system skills (knowledge of Anaplan and PowerBI is an advantage), and
fluent English and Finnish.
