We are looking for an experienced Warranty Lead Engineer at ABB Oy, Marine and Ports division in Vuosaari, Helsinki. In this position, you will be in technical charge of support for our customer projects during the warranty period. We value a self-starter, who has sense of ownership and a customer-oriented mindset. Your responsibilities:
- Technical responsibility of medium voltage marine power distribution system products during the warranty period.
- Resolving technically warranty claims which are related industrial electrical equipment, such as switchboards, transformers, motors, and generators.
- Providing the resolution plans for the claims to the customers and for internal service engineers.
- Developing warranty claim handling process together with the stakeholders and improve the lessons learn culture.
- Supporting continuous improvement of project / process / product / system design.

Your background:
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in electrical engineering or other relevant field of engineering.
- Strong experience in working with industrial electrical systems such as generators, motors, and switchboards. Solid knowledge of medium voltage power distribution systems
- Good experience of the ABB Relion series and in protection relay application software engineering.
- Knowledge of IEC61850 communication standard considered as an advantage.
- You enjoy working as part of a team, yet you can make decisions independently.
- Systematic way of thinking and ability to prioritize tasks. You have good pressure tolerance.
- Readiness to travel and fluent written and spoken communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with SAP, CAD tools, good spoken and written Finnish skills and experience in the marine industry are considered as an advantage when applying for the position.
