As a Legal Counsel, you will work as a key member of our Nordic Legal Team headed by a General Counsel located in Sweden, in this role you will report to the local Head of Legal. Your general, everyday interaction will run across all St1 business units in Finland as well as in the Nordics.

Your daily tasks will consists of drafting and negotiating contracts, analyzing various types of legal questions and providing day-to-day legal support to business units particularly in the fields of renewable energy and development projects, transactions (e.g. M&A and trading) and commercial contracts. We appreciate interest or previous experience in e.g. IPRs, competition law as well as legislation in the context of renewable energy and retail business. The tasks may be modified and directed depending on the selected candidate's experience and interests.

Your key responsibilities include:

-Negotiating and concluding contracts
   -Advising and providing legal support to business units in various legal matters
   -Monitor relevant legal developments and communicate these to the business
   -Develop, maintain and supervise contract management
   -Update and draft internal policies and guidelines and communicate them to relevant stakeholders
   -Other legal matters depending on the selected candidate's experience and interests

The Legal Counsel we are looking for has or is:

-3+ years of previous experience as an inhouse Legal Counsel or from a law firm
   -An analytical and curious attitude and ability to solve even the most complex problems
   -General knowledge of the legal and business-related issues around the renewable energy market and value chains, commercial contracts and IPRs
   -Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English and Finnish
   -Business oriented mindset

In addition to the qualifications above, you have outstanding co-operation and communicating skills. You are self-imposed and enjoy taking initiative.
