Wellbeing services county of North Savo provides all public social, health, rescue and security services in the county of North Savo, which includes 19 municipalities and cities. With 12 700 employees, including 2800 nurses and 900 physicians, it is the biggest employer in North Savo, providing social and healthcare services from primary health care to specialized medical care for more than 248,000 inhabitants. Together with the Kuopio University Hospitals' specialized medical care services, the county serves nearly a million inhabitants in Eastern Finland.

As a nurse, you will work as an expert in your own field in a multiprofessional working group. You will participate in the planning, implementation and evaluation of the patient's treatment and planning the follow-up care. Nurses' role in North Savo primary healthcare services involves self-management, clear independent responsibility areas on pharmacotherapy and a rehabilitative work approach.
