DATA PROJECT MANAGER

As Lindström's new Data Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of any data project. This includes setting project goals, timeframes, and budgets, as well as managing the project team to ensure projects are completed on time. In addition to leading project teams, you will be working closely with relevant vendors and business stakeholders across several functions. Your location will be at our Head Office in Kalasatama, Helsinki, where we are working in a hybrid model.

In this role, your key responsibilities include:

- Acting as leader for data project teams, as well as overall project management (i.e. resourcing, budgeting, documentation, delivering status reports)
- Ensuring project goals are met and business value is delivered
- Creating and maintaining data cleansing, data migration, AI and BI project plans
- Managing stakeholder interactions throughout the entire project lifecycle
- Managing collaboration between different vendors in the project
- Risk management and mitigation
- Preparing and facilitating project steering sessions
- Reporting project outputs and deviations to the steering group, as well as reporting decisions and guidance from the steering group to the project team
- Following good project management and project portfolio management practices and ensuring correct signoffs and hand over
- Proactively ensuring the projects are on track to meet targets
- Leading, supporting, coaching, and guiding the project team

We are looking for a new team member who has experience in data project management, leading project teams, and taking care of all project related preparations, practicalities, planning, and execution. Excellent project management and organizational skills are essential for this role, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills. The ability to prioritize tasks is important, as well as a proactive and result-oriented approach to work. Our ideal candidate has:

- At least two years of experience in technical change project management
- Bachelor's degree or higher in information systems, economics, or related field
- Experience in data migration, data cleansing, data platforms, AI development and deployment projects
- Experience with MS Dynamics 365, MS Azure Data Platform, Azure AI, and Power BI
- Knowledge of data management, master data management, data quality management, and data privacy
- Excellent project management skills and familiarity with project management methodologies
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify dependencies and impacts in large and complex processes and system landscapes
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and facilitation skills
- The ability to multitask and work on several projects simultaneously
- Delivery- and results-oriented approach to work
- Experience in working across borders in a multinational organization with international colleagues in different functions
- Excellent written and verbal English language skills
