We are looking for a Testing and Laboratory Specialist at ABB Oy, Smart Power in Vaasa. In this role you will take part in developing top-class ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) products. You will join a cross-functional team and utilize Agile methodologies in your work and collaboration. Your task is to define test plans, perform tests and analyze the results. Your responsibilities
- Functional and non-functional testing of embedded systems in our Automatic Transfer Switch products
- Ensuring that both the system software and hardware are fully functional and defect-free
- Test automation including tool development in Robot Framework
- Reliability testing and coordinating EMC (Electromagnetic compatibility) testing
- Debugging to continuously improve product functionality
- Preparing test and bug reports

Your background
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical engineering, Computer Science or related field
- Experience in embedded system testing, both software and hardware
- Experience in developing test automation with Robot Framework
- Knowledge of basic laboratory instruments (oscilloscope, multimeter, function generator etc.)
- Fluency in Finnish and English, both written and spoken
- ISTQB/equivalent certification, programming skills (specifically Python) and familiarity with Agile development will be considered as an advantage
