Are you a mechanical engineer interested in working in assembly production? We are looking for a Production Engineer for pump and mixer technology production at Mamec Oy in Lohja for a permanent position. The recruitment partner is Barona Engineering.

Mamec Oy is a manufacturing company part of the Kaarjoki Group, employing approximately 100 industrial professionals in Lohja. We provide mixing and pumping technology solutions for industrial needs and offer manufacturing services from machining to complete system deliveries. In contract manufacturing, we serve globally renowned high-tech suppliers, and all the equipment we manufacture is characterized by precision mechanical parts made in our machine shop.

Job Description

In this role, you will work closely with another Production Engineer, specifically responsible for product structure data and its maintenance in the ERP system, as well as creating and monitoring work orders. You will also be involved in developing production monitoring data by utilising ERP and production management software, work method development and supporting procurement related to production. The products are proprietary to Mamec and designed in-house.

Expectations

Success in this role requires suitable technical education, preferably in mechanical engineering. The role also requires very good IT skills and preferably experience with ERP systems, as well as proficiency in using Finnish and English both verbally and in writing for work tasks.

We consider it an advantage if you have an understanding of machinery and experience in machine construction projects alongside design and manufacturing as well as basic knowledge of machine elements. We also hope that you are interested in manufacturability and design.

You may be the right fit for this role if you are detail-oriented, meticulous and continuous improvement comes naturally to you. Your ability to grasp what a solution/design requires from a production perspective will contribute to your success.
