Are you the right fit?

We are looking for an enthusiastic communications and marketing professional with to join our international team of communicators. You will be a part of a Nordic team that oversees all communications and marketing activities in the area. You will be responsible for communications and marketing activities in Finland and the Baltic countries (with help from local agencies). 

You will get to work on internal communications, external communications as well as marketing: knowing how to prioritize your tasks is crucial. You will be involved in event planning as well as other marketing activities from writing and sending newsletters to working alongside our customers to get our key messaging across. You will also take charge of media relations.

 

Responsibilities include, for example

  • Writing, editing and creating content for internal and external channels in English and Finnish (including videos, articles, newsletters)

  •  Supporting business functions in reaching their wanted audiences with targeted marketing

  •  Supporting the business to communicate effectively to its target audience

  •  Support the management team in overall communications

  • Take charge of media relations for Finland and Baltic countries

  • Support the Nordic team in joint projects in marketing and communications

  • Support with internal/external event and trade shows

 

Required knowledge/skills, education and experience

  • BA in Communications/Marketing or equivalent, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Successful experience in communications or from a communication related environment

  • Able to work well in a matrixed organization

  • Ability to work independently as well as in an international team

  • Solid written and verbal communication skills in Finnish and English

  • Solid project management skills

  • Able to effectively use online communication channels (online advertising etc.)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel) required. Knowledge of Office 365 tools preferred (Yammer, Teams etc.)

  • Experience with graphic design tools (InDesign, Photoshop) appreciated
