Warehouse Manager

We are on an exciting growth journey and are now looking for a new

Warehouse Manager

to join our great team in Askola, Finland and take lead of setting up our new warehouse in Germany. As the new Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for organizing our warehouse operations in Central Europe and making sure that they start running smoothly. You will hire and train local staff acting as their supervisor and make sure all necessary storage equipment and packaging material are acquired. Also, you will choose the right transportation partners and maintain close relationships with them. After the new warehouse in Germany is up and running, you will also get the chance to lead and develop the operations and transportation partnerships in our other warehouses in Finland and Norway together with local Warehouse Supervisors. In this role, you will report to the Chief of Operations (COO) and the role requires travelling.

You are a Warehouse professional with sound knowledge of how a good and functional warehouse is run. You enjoy working and communicating with people and feel comfortable interacting with our domestic and international stakeholders internally and externally. You work independently and in an organized manner and you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

We expect you to have

• Experience in a supervisory or management role in warehouse operations
• Practical hands-on experience of warehouse work and knowledge of project management
• Can-do attitude and development mind-set
• Experience of working in an international setting
• Strong language skills in English and German. Finnish skills are considered an asset.
