VTT Summer Internships 2019; Research Trainee, Efficient computing and communications

We are working with demanding customers and exiting applications from terrestrial 5G telecom systems to autonomous systems connectivity, space and satellite 5G telecom integration. Examples of our results:

With us you will be responsible for

experimenting with VTT’s revolutionary REPLICA parallel processor environment by creating parallel programs and benchmarks. The summer job covers also performance, energy, and programmability measurements with REPLICA and reference processors.

We expect you to have

• Basic (parallel) programming skills (C, assembler)
• Understanding of the basics of processors
• Good command of English

As a person you are

Innovative and solutions-oriented having also good collaboration and communication skills. You are self-driven and willing to learn new things.
