In the VP Railway Division role for NRC Group Finland, you will have a unique opportunity to lead the newly found Railway Division according NRC Group’s new growth strategy. You will report to the Managing Director of NRC Group Finland. You will act in a strong role implementing strategy and analyse and follow up the KPIs while working closely with the whole organisation.
You are determined with a desire to develop and implement strategic plans, evaluate and report on the performance of the division, coordinate and collaborate with other division directors and senior managers, resolve issues that arise within the division or with external stakeholders, represent the division in meetings, presentations, and negotiations, and ensure compliance with organizational standards, regulations, and best practices.
We are looking for a socially talented person who has experience and proven track record of leading successful project business. You understand the importance of collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. You have a suitable education, preferably a technical or commercial university degree but other degrees with extensive relevant work experience are also possible.
In this role, you will:
- Have P/L responsibility of division Railway
- Contribute to the strategic leadership and management in Division leader role of NRC Group Finland. You will be helping your organization leaders to achieve success and delivery of the country level objectives by coaching them and driving the ambitious targets set in the company.
- Foster trust and create synergies during times of transformation
- Ensure project management effectiveness and profitability
- Report and analyze strategic goals, lead initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness
- Lead a newly established division consisting of ca. 300 people.
We would appreciate if you have:
- M.Sc. in relevant field, (Engineering, Energy, Economics) with a strong business-oriented knowledge
- Fluent written and spoken Finnish and English skills, Swedish or Norwegian is an asset
- Relevant experience from construction, infrastructure, contracting on a country level, including project management and understanding financial and risk structures
- Experience in pricing negotiations, sourcing or contracting
- Excellent people and leadership skills
- Proven experience in successfully driving change and engaging people in the transformation process
- Analytical thinking and systematic ways of working
- Strong experience in effective communication and excellent cooperation skills
- Business intensive knowledge of project focused environment, investment heavy companies, or listed companies
- Digital mindset – you inspire others to adopt digital practices and promote digital mindset in our organisation.
