iCare is a dynamic and developing company with a strong foothold in the global markets. In this new role, Veterinary Area Manager, you will be responsible for the veterinary sales and business development in Europe, Middle East & Africa. To assure your success in sales, you will be involved in creating content for marketing & educational materials. Your role involves valued communication with the end-users, especially the Key Opinion Leaders – but also the end-customers i.e. animals - which put your interpersonal and negotiation skills at great use. What more, you get to drive the business strategy together with the Veterinary Business Line Director.
The job is located preferably in Vantaa, Southern Finland, but can be elsewhere in Europe near by a major airport.
In sum, your duties in this role will include, but not necessarily be limited to:
Supporting the distributors to reach their goals
Researching and understanding the market for IOP measurement
Analysing customer needs and definition of value propositions and products
Planning and preparing marketing materials and campaigns together with marketing team
Organising training for the salesforce and supporting the salesforce and end users
Managing the relations with key opinion leaders
Following and driving clinical studies
To match the above, we except you to possess enthusiastic and goal-driven attitude and a desire to impact the business success. Commercial acumen, ability to work with animals and effective project management skills are must-haves in the role, even over the experience with ophthalmic technology. The latter is naturally considered as an advantage, in addition to any previous experience in international veterinary sales. You may, however, be at the early stages of your career as you can evolve along your responsibilities.
You have a relevant academic degree and excellent communication skills. You are a natural networker and a skilled negotiator with fluency in English. Any other language skills are for your benefit.
