We are looking for a VALIDATION MANAGER. Projects are managed by following Gemalto project management processes. The position is permanent and located in Vantaa.
In the role as the Validation Manager you will ensure that the overall test work-stream spanning all aspects of the delivery (including software, hardware, equipment, IT etc.) are meeting customer requirements/ industry standards and that the test deliverables meet both timeline and quality standards.
We are looking for experienced validation manager who is both technical and customer orientated. For this role we believe you have several years of project management experience. Ideal would be 8-10 years’ experience in testing and validation & 5 years’ experience in program test management. You might have degree in Computer Science or related fields. You are familiar with ISO 29119-3 for test documentation and ISO 25010 for system and quality models. You speak and write fluent English and Finnish.
-Lead overall test approach for projects /programs including the associated quality assurance aspect.
-Ensure that the test approach meets both client and industry quality requirements.
-Drive for overall customer acceptance of the test approach and testing.
-Control via project management activity that the test program is managed to agreed milestones including ensuring that others meet those timelines also.
-Act as the main point of contact for the client for the overall test work-stream.
- Lead/coordinate other test leads within the organisation to ensure that their output meets overall requirements.
-You have overall accountability for ensuring test documentation meets the client requirements:
-Work closely with the program manager to ensure that the test program aligns to the overall program in terms of time, quality and cost requirements.
-Represent the clients’ interests with regards to test to internal project stakeholders.
-Monitor progress against the overall test program reporting to management and the program manager.
-Highlight any test issues and develop mitigation plans to address the issues.
- You adapt the test approach dynamically to support the overall program remaining on track whilst continuing to meet quality expectations.
