About the company

Holmgrens Truck and Motor (HTM) is a company that has been around since 1974 and employs 17 people in total. We offer repairs and service on all types of trucks, vehicles and machinery, from large to small, and in order for us to provide an accessible and problem-solving service, our employees play a central role in the company. We now need to strengthen our team with several employees, both truck mechanics and vehicle mechanics!

We have been acquired by Bilia for 80% and will thus become a Mercedes workshop with both trucks and transport vehicles. The Mercedes certification will be reflected in the workshop's appearance, tools, training, etc., and those we employ will be able to join us on a journey and develop the concept together with us.

About the roles

Depending on your background and experience, there are opportunities to work either as a truck mechanic or vehicle mechanic. But whatever the role, you will have an independent, free and varied job with a lot of customer contact and working together with colleagues. You will be encouraged to develop within your role and your own commitment is crucial to our mutual success.

The main duties of the Truck Mechanic role involve the repair & service of trucks, as well as troubleshooting. As a Vehicle Mechanic with us, you will mainly work on troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance of vehicles. Much of the troubleshooting on both transport vehicles and trucks is computer-aided, so it is important that you can read and follow instructions, as well as work with digital aids.

Your skills

We are looking for someone who has completed a high school automotive mechanics program or has gained equivalent knowledge through experience in servicing and repairing vehicles/machines, and is interested in technology and problem solving. You are a person who prioritizes your professional pride, takes responsibility, and is service-oriented. To thrive in this role, you need to enjoy interacting with people, be good at collaborating, be able to structure and plan your work, and want to develop, not least in the digital field and electrification.
