We are now looking for a Treasury Specialist to join our Group Treasury Operations team in Helsinki.
Metso has a centralized treasury function in Group Treasury in Helsinki Head Office. Group Treasury is responsible for financial risk management and control, external and internal funding of Metso, cash management structures, and trade and customer finance support.
As a member of the Treasury Administration team, your main tasks will be cash management and monthly netting, back office controlling tasks, monthly and quarterly financial reporting as well as participating in regional and global Treasury and automation projects.
In this role, you will also have other varied treasury tasks such as guarantee administration and confirmations and accounting of treasury transactions.
You will be working closely with banks, Metso business units globally, Shared Service Centers and various other internal departments in Metso. Treasury Specialist reports to Manager, Treasury Control and Administration.
To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance or accounting, as well as already some relevant work experience in treasury, finance or banking environment. You have a good understanding of global cash management and payment processing. Experience from in-house bank environment and knowledge of IFRS are considered as a plus.
Good Excel skills are needed in this role and you have the ability and interest to learn new finance/treasury tools and other IT systems quickly.
You have fluent communication skills in English. You are analytical and you work in a structured manner and can handle multiple tasks simultaneously. You have the eagerness to develop processes, learn continuously and proactively take things forward in good collaboration with others.
