Transport Planner

Are you an experienced Transport Planner looking to make a significant impact in the world of international shipping? We at CMA CGM Inland Services are looking for you to strengthen our Team! Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective transportation of cargo, maintaining high service standards, and enhancing our overall logistical operations.

What do we offer?

We offer you an international and dynamic working environment and interesting permanent position with diverse tasks that include:

• Coordinating road transports in Finland with ERP system

• Communication with drivers and allocating the transport task to them

• Coordinating customer-related tasks with customer service

• Monitoring and reporting tasks, managing changes and reacting to unexpected situations when needed

• Planning maintenance and inspections of trucks

• Preparing drivers’ salary materials and planning their leaves

• Participating in drivers’ onboarding and planning their trainings

• Participating in various projects

The work is operated in two shifts from Monday to Friday between 7:00-18:00. 

What skills and knowledge do we value?

• Relevant education in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or other related field

• Previous experience in transportation planning, logistics, or a similar role within the shipping or logistics industry

• Technical knowledge of transport equipment, specifications, types, restrictions

• Fluent Finnish and English language skills. 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners

• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions in a dynamic environment

• Fluency and interest in IT tools
