Kalmar is looking for a Trainee, Master Data to work in our Item management team in Kalmar Services, during the summer period (approx. May - end of August) full-time and optionally also during the autumn period as part-time trainee.

 We support our Kalmar Central Service’s sales, purchasing, technical support and pricing functions and frontline operations sales globally in various tasks related product item data globally.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Maintain parts item data according to agreed policies;
  • Provide added value for item data content and verify data quality and completeness;
  • Prepare mass data lists;
  • Organize digital spare part photo archives;
  • Supporting the daily operations and different office tasks.

What you’ll need to succeed

We are looking for a student in engineering (M.Sc. or B. Sc.), for example first or second year student. 

Ideally you have: 

  • Preferably some previous work experience in similar tasks (experience from purchasing/sales/engineering is an advantage);
  • Detail oriented working style;
  • Interest to do also beginner level tasks;
  • Strong general IT skills;
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills in English & Finnish.
