Test Manager
Eaton´s new campus for its critical power systems in Vantaa, Finland, integrates all current activities into a much larger site. The new campus was opened in April 2024, and the 16,500 m² site will house research and development, manufacturing, warehousing, sales and service under one roof and will create up to 100 additional jobs.
As one of the world’s largest manufacturers of three-phase uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), Eaton’s expansion in this area is driven by strong business growth and the demand for systems that ensure business continuity. Situated in a prime location next to the Helsinki airport, the Vantaa facility will serve as Eaton’s Critical Power Solutions headquarters and a center of excellence for data centers.

What you’ll do:
As a Test Bay Manager, you will manage the short term scheduling and optimal use of our Test Bays while creatively tweaking set-ups to get best capacity. You will also be responsible for forecasting and developing the long term Test Bay capacity while aligning with various departments. You will also participate in the development of customer experience and test & reporting automation.
Coordinate scheduling of Test Bay use
Push teams to for optimal use to increase capacity
Measure efficiency and forecast utilization rate of Test bays
Manage Continuous Improvement and technical improvements for enhanced and optimal use
Manage long term Test Bay capacity planning&development, support manning planing
Coordinate Test Bay automation and FAT test results automation
Coordinate impact of changes&maintenance on Test Bays
Ensure Safety on Test Bays. Full understanding of Eaton Electrical Safety practices and drive it into day to day work of Test bay area
Scope Test Bay area+oversight for NPIQ lab; manufacturing testers excluded
Lead Test Engineering Team including Test engineers, laboratory engineer
Qualifications:
BSc in Electrical Engineering or in other appropriate Science
4 years experience in managing processes or projects
Skills:
Electrical & UPS knowledge, electrical safety, measuring performance, IT savvy.
Good communicator and can strongly influence others
