Test Design Engineer, MEMS

We are looking for a MEMS Test Design Engineer to join our MEMS Test Design Team in our Vantaa site. Your main task is to develop both test and measurement methods and equipment for sensor elements used in laboratory and production environments. Furthermore, your main task is to ensure quality.
As a member of the team, you will participate in several projects related to MEMS development and manufacturing, and work in close collaboration with Production and RnD organizations. One essential responsibility of the team is to maintain and advance testing of MEMS element production by improving test methods, processes and equipment. As a Test Design Engineer, your workdays are flexible and diverse, not only routine testing and measuring of electronics.
Working as a member of the MEMS Test Design Team, your main tasks include:
MEMS Test development in various development projects
Development of Test platform systems, tools and test methods
Validation of Test systems
Quality assurance of MEMS Testing
Test planning and execution
Test and data analysis using multiple tools
In the assignment, you will learn about the technology of micromechanical sensors and you will participate in electrical measurements of sensor elements in a production and clean room environment. We hope that you have a suitable technical background for the job, such as M.Sc. or B.Sc. with an emphasis on, for example measurement technology, physics or electronics.
We value your interpersonal skills and accurate working style. Basic knowledge of testing and project working will support your success in this position. You communicate fluently in English and document your work carefully. In addition, knowledge of programming languages, embedded systems and statistical methods allows you to work in broader task areas. You are able to work systematically in a fast moving production environment, independent when needed, and you enjoy both the production and the laboratory environment. The team supports manufacturing employees and maintenance by solving sudden problems and improving test processes. Our team co-operate closely with Test Software Development and Embedded Systems Development teams in designing of test systems and planning long-term actions. Automotive industry provides strict quality requirement so ensuring quality to our customers is our priority. The team is comprised of about 12 professionals with a great team spirit and everyone has their own area of responsibility.
