We are looking for a Territory Manager Vascular, based in Finland to join our team in the Nordics.

In this exciting and independent position as Territory Manager, you will be primarily responsible for the achievements of sales revenue targets and objectives of Abbott’s interventional Vascular division. The product portfolio includes marketing leading devices for coronary artery disease such as pressurewire, OCT catheter, stents, balloons and guidewires. You will be fully trained to our products.

This role of Territory Manager is field based with main focus on visiting customers in South and East Finland. You will be our product expert and provide our customers excellent customer service thus maximizing sales opportunities and result delivery. Territory Manager needs to have a pioneering spirit and be flexible and supportive to ensure that all customer service needs are met through effective team working. In this role you will work closely with the Sales team leader and Field Technical engineer of the Vascular Coronary team.

Primary objective of the position 

  • Prioritize and plan sales presentations and prospecting activities in an organized and efficient manner to achieve preset revenue and product targets whilst controlling expenditure. This includes performing stand duty at exhibitions when requested and responding to technical questions that might be raised by internal or external customers.
  • To manage customer relationships and provide service to optimize continuing sales revenues from existing accounts whilst also establishing new accounts.
  • To offer guidance on correct use, settings and applications of Vascular Coronary products in the clinical environment (implant and follow-up) in a manner which is in accordance with legal health and safety directives, accepted ethical practice, hospital protocols and Abbott company policies. 
  • Work with the Sales Team Lead to develop and deliver on call plans and account plans in order to meet agreed revenue targets.
  • Prepare and monitor tenders. Work together with our tender specialist on submissions & execute on awards as required.
  • Represent Abbott in a professional manner that aligns with Company image, ensuring activities comply with legal and ethical standards.

Your preferred background 

  • Degree in the field of medical, technical or business or other suitable field.
  • Similar work experience of at least 3 years in hospital environment or medical devices.
  • Strong skills in building relationships – gaining commitment through effective influencing and stakeholder management.
  • Ambitious, creative, commercial and flexible attitude.
  • Tactical, proactive team player with and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Finnish and good command of English.
  • Willing to travel abroad when needed.
