Pulp Drying technology unit’s Project Operations is responsible for the commissioning of pulp drying machines around the world and our start-up engineers work frequently at our customers’ pulp mills around the world.
We are looking for an active Technology Engineer, who has good technical and social skills and willingness to learn and share expertise with others. Your preferred office location would be Ulvila in Finland, alternatively in Raisio.
As a Technology Engineer your main responsibilities are:
You have a degree in a suitable technical field (process, production or mechanical). Working experience in engineering discipline or pulp & paper mill operation or similar industry is appreciated. You have some experience of process engineering tools and practices. Hands-on knowhow in process industry or commissioning works of similar equipment is a definite plus. Fluent English skills are needed in this position, other languages (especially Finnish) are an asset.
You should have good communication and interpersonal skills to build and keep up good relationships with both external and internal clients. You enjoy problem solving and troubleshooting. Even though this includes very practical tasks, you need to have systematic ways of working and keep your paperwork in order. Interest to work on assignments globally and flexibility to changing conditions are a requirement, as the individual assignments can last for few weeks at a time.
You can be technology expert or young growing talent, but essential is your high motivation and eager to learn more.
