As a Technical Systems Specialist you will be part of product development team. Your responsibilities are e.g. to plan SaaS environments, coordinate installations and design data with for clients. Though we expect you know how to kick the ball your team and mentor will help you to learn how to kick the ball to top right corner and make a goal. Your clients are working in energy industry and one of the bigger projects you'll get a chance to help your clients with is Fingid's Datahub.

As consultant at Academic Work you are offered a great opportunity to extend your network and establish valuable contacts for the future.
You will be working in a team that communicates with various stakeholders but you will do a lot of tasks independently. Project management tool that tasks are coordinated in is Jira. As one of your responsibilities is to perform SaaS installations you will occasionally have to work on weekends. Your typical work week is 37,5 hours per week in long-term - sometimes more, sometimes less depending on the workload. Remote days are negotiable after trial period but we hope that you are mostly able to work at the office (Helsinki, Lappeenranta or Kuopio).

Your job duties are:
* Planning SaaS environments
* Coordinating and performing SaaS installations
* Designing data and digital communication plans
* Acting as a technical support
You will get support and tools to help you succeed but it is important that you have:

* Good understanding of operating systems and servers (e.g. Biztalk, SQL Server)
* Good understanding of an application protocol (e.g. Telnet) and SFTP
* Profiency with an ETL tool (e.g. Control-M)
* Experience with databases (Oracle, SQL Server, SSRS)
* Good problem-solving / trouble-shooting skills
* Fluent written and spoken English and Finnish

Your experience can be from work (e.g. 2nd line support) or own projects and all the knowledge you have is highly appreciated. Previous experience in automating the installation processes is seen as your advantage.
