The world's largest manufacturer of helideck aviation safety equipment, Frictape is now looking for a hungry and ambitious Technical Sales Manager to strengthen their small and international sales team! They don’t expect you to have a boat load of experience yet - the most important thing to them is that you have a passion towards sales and motivation to grow into a bigger role. If you are also fully comfortable working with a truly global customer base (Frictape’s clients are 100% somewhere else than in Finland) you might be just the perfect fit for the role!
As a Technical Sales Manager you’ll be starting off with basic sales cases to learn and demonstrate your abilities and as all goes well, you will be moving towards more demanding and higher value customer opportunities. At first you’ll be dealing with inbound sales cases and the whole sales cycle surrounding them. Your main responsibility is to turn the client’s offer requests into deals. You’ll be making client offers, following up the sales process, confirming the orders to clients and taking care of the deliveries.
This position is ideal for a motivated and driven individual, who is ready to roll up sleeves to get things done. You enjoy working in a fast paced, international setup and you already have some kind of earlier work experience in general (preferably from sales) and enthusiasm towards sales. You are also capable of understanding and articulating technical things and working with people from big corporations and across all geographies. Frictape also values readiness to travel!
Frictape requires from you:
A relevant educational background, such as a Bsc or Msc from a Technical / Business field
Some earlier work experience (preferably from sales)
Passion towards sales and willingness to start working from the simpler customer cases to grow to manage the more demanding ones
Technical understanding, you are able to learn technical concepts and to articulate them and their benefits to the customers
Fluent communication skills in English
Frictape considers as an asset:

Other language skills, such as Spanish, Chinese, Arabic…
