We are looking for a Technical Sales Manager to join our Specialty Papers ENA Sales Team. Our sales team is located across Europe, close to the markets. In our team we share technical competence on flexible packaging, label and commercial siliconizing industry. We also understand brand owner requirements and commercial processes. Technical Sales Manager is involved in sales and CRM workflows from prospecting, lead generation to closing of deals.

UPM Specialty Papers ENA produces label and packaging materials to global markets. Its main customers are self-adhesive label and packaging converters as well as commercial siliconizers . UPM Specialty Papers is a leader in sustainable development. Its high performance papers are produced in China and Finland. What you’ll do

  • Manage accounts and generate sales in Packaging, Label and Silicone Coating business
  • Develop value adding product and service propositions with high input in technical expertise
  • Identify prospects and new markets, create leads and close deals through direct converting of customers as well as brand owners/ specifiers
  • Network with brand owners, retailers and other key specifiers
  • Develop product range with product management
  • Participate in relevant promotional initiatives and contribute to marketing communications through all available tools and channels

 Who you are 

  • You have technically oriented university degree and 5+ years’ experience in flexible packaging, label or commercial siliconizing business. You also have commercial knowledge and experience.
  • You work fluently in English and in addition have proficiency of German, Italian, French, Spanish or Polish.
  • You enjoy collaboration, networking and influencing and working together with the value chain
  • You are flexible with frequent travels within Europe (90+ days/year)
