Mellifiq is planning to strengthen their presence in Finland and now they are looking for a responsible and business minded Technical Sales Lead to help them launch their operations in Finland. As a Technical Sales Lead, you will perform sales, coaching of the sales staff, and administrative tasks. You will be responsible for leading the Project Sales Engineer team based in Finland. You will be making sure that they are capable of doing their job and reaching their targets.
You will be for example providing day-to-day support and guidance to the Project Sales Engineers on different matters. You are helping them with clients and making sure that they are following the company policies and using tools correctly. You will be responsible for reporting the team performance to Mellifiq’s Head of Sales & Business Development. In addition, you will be participating in sales. You’ll be opening doors for the sales, working with key accounts, presenting Mellifiq at trade shows, participating in discussions, and writing partnership agreements.
To be successful as a Technical Sales Lead at Mellifiq you should be a business-minded person, who has an entrepreneurial drive. You will be acting as a bridge between different internal and external stakeholders, which highlights the importance of excellent communication skills. You’ll be for example working closely with Mellifiq’s Business Developer, President & CEO, and the Head of Sales & Business Development. As this role includes managerial responsibilities, you should also be a fair, organized and supportive person, who is not afraid to take responsibility. In this position, you will be also facing different challenges, which require problem-solving, and ability to work under pressure and a positive and courageous doer attitude.
The position is placed at the Mellifiq office in central Helsinki and your presence there is necessary. The role however includes a lot of correspondence with the Swedish HQ and traveling will be also part of the position.

Mellifiq requires you to have:

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a technical field, such as chemical engineering, environmental engineering, energy engineering etc.

Earlier B2B-sales experience, minimum of 3-5 years (preferably from industrial companies)

Some kind of earlier managerial experience

Basic IT-skills, from such as MS Office and CRM-systems

Fluency in Finnish and English

A driver’s license
