Metsä Board is looking for a

TECHNICAL MARKETING MANAGER

to operate as a member of the Product Management/ Technical marketing team to work with competitor follow-up and products. The Technical Marketing Manager will work closely with mills, R&D, Communication and Sales. In this role you will report to Product Management Director and are located in Metsä Board head office in Espoo or in some of our mill locations in Finland.

What's your role in the future Metsä?

Key responsibilities:

• Technical competitor follow-up of products and services

• Developing competitor follow-up tools and competitor reporting

• Maintaining product specifications and responsibility in PIM (product information management tool)

• Creating and maintaining technical documentation in M-files, Intranet and Showell

• Supporting and training sales, technical service and customers

• Providing technical argumentation material by understanding products, services, end-uses, segments and competitive environment

• Participating and managing development projects as separately agreed.

What are we looking for?

We expect you to have an academic degree in process engineering or other relevant field and knowledge of board manufacturing and/or converting technology.  We also expect you to have experience in paperboards especially in paperboard production. Knowledge about FBB, FSB and WKL grades is an advantage.

To be successful in this position you need to have a commercial focus, good problem solving and project management skills. You are proactive, performance and result oriented team player with ability to work independently with tight deadlines and great attention to details. You have excellent co-operation and networking skills. In our international environment you need fluency in written and spoken English, Finnish language is beneficial. Understanding different cultures and other languages is an asset. Experience in Microsoft tools, M-files, Power-BI, Intranet-tools and other relevant IT-skills are appreciated.
