We are looking for a TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER to manage customer delivery and support projects in North Europe. Projects include both SW and HW deliveries and support. Projects are managed by following Gemalto project management processes. Position is permanent and located in Vantaa.
•Managing customer delivery projects through the entire life cycle in respect of cost, time, and quality requirements. The projects include both SW and HW deliveries. Based on the candidate´s background the job can be tailored and also technical project tasks can be included.
•Monitoring and securing project delivery; following-up of production issues
•Defining and following-up agreed action plan with customer/supplier to achieve project goals
•Provide regular visibility on project progress, risks and issues
•Permanent collaboration with R&D, marketing and sales teams for coverage of deals and customer needs
•Managing answers to customer's technical questions by using internal resources, processes and tools
•Ensuring project documentation
•Coordinating the tasks with subcontractors and 3rd parties (e.g. HW manufacturers)
•Degree in Computer Science or related fields
•Proven competence in project management methodologies (PRINCE2, PROPS or PPS for example).
•Both technical and customer oriented
•Experience of large integration projects.
•Experience of working in international environment and distributed project environment.
•Experience of working towards authorities is an asset but not necessary
Technical skills and competencies:
•Technical background (complex mix of technologies involved in the projects)
•Results-oriented, ability to work in autonomy, use own initiative, and willing to work in a dynamic structure.
•Both technical and customer oriented.
•Fluent in Finnish and English, Swedish is an asset
Skills in Project Management:
•People management skills
•Ideally 3+ years of project management experience
