Terveystalo Digital Health is seeking an experienced
Tech Lead
to join our team and contribute to the development of a cutting-edge digital service platform. Our team has a mission to solve the care gap of the public sector by providing cost-effective and efficient healthcare with exceptional digital services. The business is growing rapidly, and you’ll have a key role in shaping the future direction of the product.
You will be responsible for leading the development team and ensuring the platform and its architecture aligns with the team’s long-term vision and delivers real value for end users and customers. We’re looking for an experienced candidate with a full-stack profile who can move fast and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership to the team and align team’s daily work with product’s long-term vision and architecture
- Develop high-quality software using front-end and back-end technologies that prioritize an exceptional user experience
- Lead the development team in the full software development life cycle, including analysis, design, implementation, and testing of platform-related features with a focus on scalable and highly productized solution
- Identify and troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements to the product architecture and user experience based on user feedback and industry best practices
- Closely collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owner, product designer and healthcare professionals, to ensure the seamless integration of discovery and delivery processes
- Manage containerization and orchestration using technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes to optimize deployment, scaling, and management of applications
- Mentor and coach developers on the team, supporting them to develop a productized platform and fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth

As an ideal candidate you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Prior experience of leading a development team, preferably on a highly scalable product
- Prior experience of working in a fast-paced environment, such as a startup or a scaleup
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a similar role, with a focus on both front-end and back-end development and architecture expertise
- Strong knowledge of modern software development methodologies and experience from applying them to practice
- Proficiency in front-end and back-end technologies, such as TypeScript, React, Node.js/Next.js, and experience with other relevant libraries and frameworks
- Solid understanding of UX design principles and the ability to apply them to software development
- Experience with cloud platforms as well as containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills and an ability to participate in customer communication when needed
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
