Ahlstrom-Munksjö Karhula Plant is looking for a Technical Customer Service Engineer to grow into this interesting position, where you get to work with all the functions in the plant.
As a Technical Customer Service Engineer (TCS Engineer) you will have the opportunity to use your technical knowledge and experience in finding the right solutions for our customers’ needs and problems. You will be travelling a lot in the customers’ companies and get to know them and their processes. You will be accompanied with the TCS Manager who will get you acquainted with the job and all the networks. In the plant you will engineer the solutions for the customers with a TCS Specialist. Karhula plant produces glass fiber materials for different uses. You will be the link between the customer and production and product development. Big part of your work is also to support the sales team in their work by using your technical knowledge.
In the role of TCS Engineer you need to have the ability to listen to the customer, understand their needs and solve their problems with Karhula Plant’s solutions. You need to have the ability to apply creative thinking and use your technical expertise to come up with new ideas, approaches or insights. As you work in customer service, strong communicational skills and interest in networking are important. Strong English and Finnish are a requirement, other languages are a plus. You should have at least a Bachelor’s degree in process technology, chemistry or other relevant field. You can be in the early stages of your career as long as you are ready and willing to learn and take on the challenge. The right attitude counts.
