We are now looking for a Tax Manager to join our Biorefining Financial Control team. This position is located in Helsinki and Tampere, Finland.

What you’ll do

In this senior role, you are the expert of our taxation and accounting processes. You ensure that tax accounting services are timely, accurate, efficient and compliant. You are leading the development of CIT processes and ensuring parent company’s accounting (FAS, IFRS) and taxation procedures are aligned and correct. Your responsibility covers implementation of decisions, guidelines and legislation changes in processes and contribute to respective system changes.

Who you are

You are a self-directed solid taxation and finance professional. Your strong analytical and process thinking skills contribute to the success of the whole team. You have already gained substantial experience in corporate income tax and financial accounting and you are capable of sharing your knowledge. Your logical and proactive way of working helps us to achieve excellent quality in tax accounting services. To further strengthen our team you have experience and interest to grow with us in following areas: process thinking, Lean & agile principles, Scrum method, analytics.

  • You have Master’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting or taxation
  • At least 8-10 years of work experience in accounting and corporate income tax
  • Master knowledge in accounting (FAS), taxation and reporting processes specifically in corporate income tax
  • Knowledge in IFRS
  • Understanding of different type of taxes
  • Good understanding of Group structures
  • Strong analytical and process thinking skills
  • Good influencing and collaboration skills in global organization
  • Change management skills
  • Fluency in Finnish and English is required in this position

Additional information

The main location of position is in Helsinki but the position requires spending 50 % of working time in Tampere.
