TAX ASSOCIATE (VAT)

We are looking for a Tax Associate to join our Indirect tax compliance team within the Business Services & Outsourcing unit. In this role, you will participate in diverse and interesting projects together with the professionals of BDO Finland, our Nordic colleagues and the global network.

Your responsibilities

In your role as a Tax Associate in the Indirect tax compliance team, you will work in projects mainly in the field of taxes, with indirect taxes as your specialization. You will manage numerous clients and support them with their VAT and related compliance work. The role also includes advising your clients as well as working independently to find the best solutions for our clients. You will have the support of our experienced and enthusiastic BSO team as well as our expert in the Tax and Legal team.

Your responsibilities will be tailored according to your interests, expertise and prior experience.

Our ideal candidate has

  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience
  • Strong knowledge and experience on VAT compliance is a key requirement
  • An applicable higher educational background, preferably with taxation as a field of studies
  • Analytical and result-oriented working style
  • Excellent collaborative and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English and native proficiency in Finnish, other language skills are considered an asset
