In Konecranes we are continuously developing our talent acquisition and development practices as part of our Lifting People Strategy and now we will start totally new Talent Acquisition Team in the EMEA region. The team will play a key role in ensuring our global recruitment and talent acquisition practices are utilized and further developed throughout EMEA to fulfil current and future talent needs.

Now we are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to Finland to ensure we are recognized as an attractive employer and candidates have the feeling of being respected and heard.

Your main role will be to manage and develop talent acquisition activities through proactive and compliant methods, in cooperation with local and dedicated business area/function HRs. You will facilitate effective resourcing by assessing the staffing needs and then identifying and recruiting talented individuals to fill those needs.

Examples of your activities during a week

  • You work closely with hiring managers and HR colleagues to understand the needs and requirements of the position
  • You manage the recruitment cycle from sourcing potential candidates, interviewing and assessing candidates and recommending them for placement in close collaboration with hiring manager, talent acquisition administrator and possible HR partner
  • You create talent networks internally and externally to find active and passive potential candidates through proactive marketing
  • You identify and use new and non-traditional sourcing channels to source candidates
  • You build our employer brand with visible presence among potential future talents to ensure future pipeline for recruitment varying from service technician to engineers, service or product delivery project managers and sales people in different levels
  • You participate in special projects and recruiting initiatives including assessments, training, internal transitioning plans and employer marketing activities
  • You follow KPI’s and drive diversity goals in all hiring
  • You keep yourself up to date with market developments, challenge own ways of working and show keen curiosity on future developments in the area of talent acquisition/recruitment

Your skills and competencies which help you to succeed:

You get to know with people easily, have strong relationship building and networking capabilities. You get motivated to find good placement from both the candidate and company point of views. You work with social media and modern tools on daily basis. High degree of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality is a must. You are self-motivated and have ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You have minimum 3-year experience of corporate/agency recruiting including sourcing, full life cycle recruiting and you are confident with different sourcing medias and tools, including proactive research tools. It has been recognized that you are a good recruiter and interviewer. You have fluent English and Finnish language and other main languages in EMEA (e.g. German, French, Russian, Swedish etc.) are advantage.

Talent acquisition team will be a virtual team and you will report to Talent Acquisition Manager. Your location will be Finland, Hyvinkää with need of travel within the candidate market area. You have possibility to work from Espoo or remotely in times to times. You will have locally a dotted line reporting relationship to HR Manager in Finland.
