We are strengthening our SW / automation design team in Espoo and are now looking for an enthusiastic and customer-oriented

SW/Automation Engineer

In this position you will be designing the software and automation engineering for ALD equipment projects. Alongside with project deliveries your work will support continuous development and maintenance of the current automation systems.

Previous work experience in similar position is not necessity, but an eager to learn is a must.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing automation software for ALD equipment and cluster control tools.
  • Commissioning the equipment deliveries alongside with process engineers.
  • Providing technical support and knowledge for customers, sales and manufacturing.
  • Creating material for maintenance instructions and manuals.
  • Working alongside with our R&D to further develop our new SW platform.
  • Understanding semiconductor industry demands and SEMI-standards.

To succeed in this position, you have:

  • Engineering background, typically BSc degree in automation engineering.
  • Good teamwork skills with customer-oriented mindset and “can do” attitude.
  • Familiarity with PLC software (e.q. Siemens S7, TwinCAT3, CODESYS) and hands-on experience in with IEC 61131-3 -programming.
  • Interest or familiarity with HMI design tools (e.q. InTouch and similar).
  • Solid verbal and written English and preferably Finnish or Chinese language skills.
  • Readiness to travel (up to 60 days a year) and meet our customers.

We appreciate if you have some knowledge in:

  • Fieldbus technologies (e.q. EtherCAT, Profinet, Profibus, CANopen).
  • Higher level programming skills (e.q. C#, HTML5, JS, and CSS4).
  • Microsoft SQL Server and SQL programming.
  • Process automation, PI-drawings and 2D CAD-programs.
