We are looking for a Sustainability Specialist to take responsibility for the sustainability work in Bonava Suomi Oy.
As Sustainability Specialist you are responsible for Bonava Finland’s sustainability and corporate responsibility development and reporting. You are planning actions and developing initiatives and routines for increased sustainability in cooperation with our group’s sustainability function. You make sure that the planned actions are implemented in Finland and support our projects in practical measures, to ensure compliance with local regulation and Bonava ambition. That could for example be supporting the organisation to apply the Nordic Swan Ecolabel or A energy class to our apartment buildings. You are also responsible to make sure all sustainability information needed to follow up on performance gets duly reported.
Our office is centrally located in Helsinki city centre, in our modern office in Sanomatalo.
We are looking for
We expect you to have a position relevant academic degree and some work experience in the field of sustainability. Especially we appreciate experience in construction business. As Bonava has set science based targets to reduce climate impact in line with the 1,5 Degree C pathway, your need to have a good understanding of energy and greenhouse gas emissions and to be familiar with the concept of life cycle analysis and the greenhouse gas protocol. We hope you have a genuine interest in sustainability and corporate social responsibility and high motivation to share and boost that in our company. You also understand processes and business of a listed company and comprehend things on a bigger scale. We seek you who can help us change the housing game.
To be successful in this position you need to have good cooperation and interaction skills and ability to see things from another perspective. You also need good verbal and written communication skills in Finnish and English. You might be a student in the final stage of your studies, but we expect you to be able to work full-time.
