SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER (SCM)

We are looking for a person with experience and success in international sourcing and logistics in industrial companies. The person we are looking for has already managed challenging tasks and closed international agreements in sourcing. You are interested in self-development and want to progress in your career.

SCM is the position in the company with the main responsibility of developing and managing the company’s sourcing operations including supplier contract negotiations, operational purchasing and logistics processes.  SCM will lead a small team of purchasing professionals, and he/she will ensure smooth flow of materials and parts according to the needs of our production. The responsibility covers managing suppliers both domestic and international. The responsibility also includes the international subcontracting network.

SCM will work in close cooperation with the product development, production and sales departments to make sure that the products can be manufactured on time and with the highest quality.

 

We expect you to have

  • experience of international supply chain management and development
  • experience of negotiating international sourcing agreements
  • experience and examples of successful development cases in global sourcing and subcontracting area
  • excellent communication skills in English and Finnish, other languages are advantage
  • strong organizational skills and a can-do mentality enabling teams to work towards the same goals
  • education B.Sc. or relevant in technology, marketing or logistics

  • strong drive and willingness to show initiative
