Supply Chain Development Manager

We are now eager to bring on-board a true professional of S&OP and Planning to our Supply Chain, who can hands-on work on our planning processes and tools “in action” to take them to the next level. You will work on making our S&OP development strategy and planning improvement roadmap come into reality by designing and implementing world-class processes, and tools that support those in the best possible way with the supply chain and business teams in the units.

You will focus on developing our tactical and operational planning processes, such as S&OP, demand-, production-, logistics- and raw material planning, including roles and responsibilities and data flows associated. Tools are an important part of the equation and in this role, you will map and develop the functional requirements and drive and oversee the tool development. What goes into the smoothness and logic of the processes, designing and safeguarding master data model and quality will be an integral part of this role.

Goal will not be reached by designing, but everyone in our business teams will need to know the agreed processes and tools throughout, and that calls for intensive networking and training sessions. As in any change project, there will be good days and bad days, but what matters is how the change is managed and eventually embedded as a part of everyday life. Eye has to be on the ball constantly, working side by side with teams in the units to ensure buy-in and adequate knowledge. This calls for ability to inspire and motivate, and willingness to be there to support hands-on. You will not be alone driving the improvements in the planning area; In this position, you will report to Director, S&OP & Planning, collaborate with your colleague, who works on S&OP and Planning area as well, connect closely with SC community across our units and our business teams.

We are looking for these qualifications when selecting for this role:

  • Master’s degree in relevant field, or equivalent experience
  • Solid understanding and working experience in end-to-end supply chain processes
  • Experience in running and/or implementing S&OP processes
  • High business acumen putting customer always first
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proven track record of successfully driving and managing change
  • Strong analytical skills and solution oriented approach towards challenges
  • Structured and systematic approach
  • Skills to network, communiate and influence various stakeholders in an international matrix organisation
  • Highly self motivated and independent, ready to go the extra mile
  • Readiness to travel
