Neles is now looking for a
Supply Chain Development Engineer to join factory’s team in Vantaa.
As a Supply Chain Development Engineer, you will develop our supply chain tools & processes, supplier relationship management, forecasts, supplier portals, ECN process, internal audits and supplier audits for the positioner factory. Together with the factory’s team, you will shape the processes and tools to a next level to match increasing demands for positioners.
More specifically, you will act as a ERP key user for supply chain and APS key user for positioner factory. You will plan demand, inventory and supply in APS and maintain and develop forecasting process. Your responsibility is to develop SCM processes, supplier portals and various other purchasing IT tools. You will handle ECN process activities including item data and BOM management in ERP.
Additionally, operative purchasing from a limited range of suppliers will be part of your job together with the factory’s buyer.
What will you bring to our team?
To succeed in this position you should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in purchasing, sourcing or production field. You have experience in working with ERP and APS systems and forecasting processes. You have strong interest towards IT systems and solutions and especially for developing IT systems. We appreciate if you have knowledge of Infor M3 or Kinaxis Rapid Response. We expect you to have Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering or Economics.
Your work style is proactive and you have develop-oriented mindset. You have the ability to organize and prioritize your tasks in a fast-paced environment. Your collaboration skills are great and you are able to work autonomously and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. You have excellent English skills both written and spoken, Finnish skills are definitely an advantage.
