We are looking for a
Supply Chain Compliance Manager
to join our Supply Chain Compliance team in Espoo, Finland or Hoofddorp, Netherlands.
Your part in Neste’s journey
We have a global team of close to 30 experts working in Supply Chain Compliance. Our team is responsible for ensuring a smooth end-to-end process of Neste's supply chain regarding traceability, GHG criteria and other sustainability information to customers, authorities and internal functions globally. We also take responsibility for Neste's sustainability compliance certifications and other verification scheme audits.
Your main responsibilities in creating a sustainable future are
Lead and develop a regional team of around 5 supply chain compliance experts
Ensure end market compliance requirements throughout the Neste value chain
Cooperate with suppliers and customers in sustainability compliance issues
Coordinate supplier and internal audits as well as 3rd party verification or certification audits
Provide customers and authorities with promptly and timely reporting on sustainability information of our renewable products
Collaborate with key internal stakeholders such as Supply, Sales, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Public Relations and Sustainability
Maintain and develop supplier compliance related tools and documentation
Manage sustainability criteria of our renewables in supply chain operations
In your daily tasks, you would for example, coordinate and support your team members work, interpret and implement compliance requirements, support suppliers and internal stakeholders on biofuel market compliance related matters, participate in various projects and occasionally visit our suppliers or other Neste sites by participating in sustainability verification audits.
The best combination to success in this role
8+ years of working experience from the private sector, preferably from biofuels/chemicals industry
Experience of being in a supervisor role leading an international team
Good understanding of the biofuel legislation such as EU RED and EPA RFS
Experience from relevant biofuel verification or certification audits such as ISCC, RSPO
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Capability of working precisely in detail, but at the same time ability to understand the big picture
Agility and ability to think analytically to come up with quick solutions
Excellent command of English language, other languages such as Germany is seen as a merit
We also value
Good understanding of the IT systems such as Google tools and SAP
Experience of developing tools and systems for data management and reporting
Ability to visualize information and communicate it clearly to relevant stakeholders
Flexibility and ability to handle pressure
Willingness to build competence in biofuels industry
