Summer Trainees, IT (PLM, PDM)

We are looking for two Summer Trainees to the Product Lifecycle Management and Product Design IT services unit. Our unit is responsible for management and development of IT systems and tools related to products, product development and engineering. As a Summer Trainee you will a member of a scrum team working closely with other team members as well as business stakeholders.
During the summer, you may:
- Participate in Agile scrum team work to enhance our PLM or CAD systems
- Do small development tasks (configuring, scripting, programming)
- Develop internal ways of working of team, e.g. in documenting or testing.
You will learn more about our Agile way of working, take part on development tasks and get valuable company IT services work experience for your future career. With us, you will be helping to develop world-leading crane company’s business processes. What you should bring
You’re the person your friends call when they have a problem with their computer. You’re studying maybe engineering or computer science and you’re interested to work in IT. You familiarize yourself with abbreviations ‘PLM’, ‘PDM’ and ‘CAD’ prior to our contact and preferably you know basics on working with Windows or Linux based servers. You should not fear learning new things. You communicate fluently in both written and spoken English.
This Summer Trainee position is located at our IT offices in Hyvinkää, Villatehdas. Length of the summer job is approximately 3-4 months between May-August, accurate dates are negotiable.
